How do we understand God’s vision and direction for our congregation? To start with, it involves gathering and sharing our common hopes for the future mission of Stanwood UMC and understanding our needs for ministry. And we need to come to a common consensus about what unifies us rather than divides us.
The Special Assistant to the Bishop, Dave Richardson, will be with us on Tuesday, January 24 and hopes to meet with the whole congregation to discern what direction church members believe we should follow to insure a vibrant future and effective ministry.
