American Cancer Society of Snohomish County Fund Raiser
Spring is here and with its arrival comes Spring Cleaning. Julie and I are participating in a textile drive fund raiser for the American Cancer Society of Snohomish County. After you fill your boxes or sacks of clothing, linens, towels, table clothes, napkins, shoes, etc., from your house cleaning, we will gladly pick up any donations you have and add them to our drive. All money collected goes directly to funding programs for cancer patients, survivors, caregivers, researchers, 24/7 cancer hotlines and many other valuable resources for patients in need. No quantity is too small. Please contact me, Debbie, at 509-205-1748 by calling or texting, or by e-mail at djbowers1105@gmail.com. Thank you for your donations and your support. ~Debbie and Julie Bowers
*We will be collecting items now thru May 31st.
All Church Clean-Up on Saturday, April 2, 9-12 a.m.
From 9AM-12:00PM this Saturday, April 2, the Trustees will be hosting a spring cleaning of the church in preparation for a joyous Easter celebration. The tulips are blooming as well as some of the azaleas and rhodies, but there are weeds to pull and shrubs to trim. The sanctuary needs a bit of TLC, and the kitchen needs attention as well. Think of a task you might like to accomplish and bring any equipment you might need. We will have a list for you to sign up on and will provide coffee and nibbles for break time and soup when we are finished. We are hoping for a good turnout and look forward to seeing you Saturday morning. ~ The Trustees

Missions Committee
The Mission’s Committee is supporting the Stanwood Food Bank for our “local Community outreach project.” After discussions with their staff, we will be collecting the following items to meet their needs:
APRIL – baby wipes and disposable diapers sizes 4 & 5 (toddler sizes)
MAY – coffee – k-cups, medium ground coffee beans and instant
JUNE – boxed “helper” dinners – I.e., Hamburger Helper, Rice-A-Roni, etc. – that can be used to stretch their protein allotments.
There will be a box in the entryway to accept your donations. Thank you for helping our community. Questions may be directed to Linda Wright.
UMW Card Makers
Easter cards will be available on the table in the Narthex beginning this Sunday. As usual, they are a mere $1.00 each with all proceeds going to the group’s mission projects near
and far. Thank you so much for helping us to help others!
Choir Resumes
It’s still not too late to participate! Choir is resuming and rehearsals began last Sunday. Following our new guidelines, you will need to be vaxxed and boosted to be in choir without a mask. We have singing masks available for those of you who are still not comfortable without wearing a mask. We will be learning two songs for Easter Sunday when we will Sing for the first time as a regular group. We will also discuss a regular rehearsal time that works for everyone moving forward. I hope to see you on Sunday in the Sanctuary at 11:30AM for our first choir rehearsal!

Coffee Hour
Our coffee hour “potluck” worked well last week, and we have no one assigned to host again this week, so we will plan to try the same approach on April 3. Grab a few cookies, some cheese, crackers, or fruit and join us for fellowship after the worship service and hang around to help clean up afterwards. It takes a village….
A huge thank you to goes to the Sunday morning volunteers who have supplied the goodies over the past month. However, no one has signed up for the next two Sundays. Please feel free to bring some fruit, cookies, cheese, and crackers etc. the next two weeks. We will have it “potluck” style!
Crazy Quilters
The quilters will be having their regular monthly meeting on Friday, April 8 at 9:30. We are open to new volunteers, and you don’t have to bring a sewing machine to be helpful. We hand-sew labels and bindings, and there’s plenty of fabric to be cut into pieces for quilt blocks that can be stitched by others. We’ve developed a system that lets everyone do the part of making a quilt that they most enjoy, and then pass it along to
someone who has another specialty. We would love to have you join us!
