Ash Wednesday derives its name from the practice of blessing ashes made from palm branches blessed on the previous year’s Palm Sunday, and placing them on the heads of participants. It is the beginning of the season of Lent—a time for reflection and renewed devotion to God.
Maundy Thursday commemorates the Last Supper of Jesus Christ with the Apostles. On this day, we remember the Last Supper. During the meal Jesus took bread and wine and shared them with his disciples.
On Sunday, 4/20 at 7:30am, join us for a beautiful Easter sunrise service as we celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus. We will sing, pray, and there will be a message.
