Bishop Elaine Stanovsky intends to appoint the Rev Justin White as Pastor of Stanwood United Methodist Church effective 1 July 2020.
Rev. White grew up in Mississippi and he was ordained an elder in the Missisiisppi Annual Conference in 2013. In 2018, he moved to Washington to serve as Pastor of North Mason UMC in Belfair and concurrently Brownsville UMC in Bremerton. In 2019, he transferred his Full Memebership to the Pacific Northwest Annual Conference.
Rev. White is a reader of all things and a lover of music. He loves to play the piano and sometimes the guitar. With his passion for music and worship design, he has been asked to be part of the worship planning team for the PNWUMC’s Gathering of the Orders in 2019 and also in the upcoming Annual Conference Session in June.
Rev. White is also a big sports fan. He cheers for all the MSU sports as well as Duke’s where he finished his seminary. Locally, he follows the Seattle Storm and the Seattle Seahawks.
