Some ways in which you can continue to give of your tithes and offerings

1.  If you would like to give electronically you can simply go to your bank online and set up a bill pay and have it sent to:  Stanwood United Methodist Church, PO Box 296, Stanwood, WA 98292.

2.  If you would like to give a gift of stocks or bonds please contact the church office for the required paperwork.

3. The 2017 changes in the  Federal Tax Law have impacted charitable giving deductions for  individuals. For some, those deductions have been an important part in their tax planning process, and have often defrayed significant portions of the costs of donations.  You may want to discuss with your Tax Advisor or Accountant your giving options, as it may be that you are able to initiate an automatic pre-tax charitable contribution from retirement distributions that will maximize your taxable deductions.  This contribution may be made by your financial institution much like a payroll deduction so you can reduce your taxable income received.  The personal exemption for income tax has been increased so that those who used to get a tax benefit are no longer able to deduct their giving.  This kind of reduction may be helpful to you, but PLEASE check with your tax advisor. We do not want to give out personal tax advise.

4.  Mail your check to: Stanwood United Methodist Church, PO Box 296, Stanwood, WA  98292
