Potluck Lunch/Meeting.
Ash Wednesday derives its name from the practice of blessing ashes made from palm branches blessed on the previous year’s Palm Sunday, and placing them on the heads of participants. It is the beginning of the season of Lent—a time for reflection and renewed devotion to God.
At 10am, Hymn Sing Sunday! We will praise and worship together through singing hymns! Bring an instrument if you would like to jam with us as we sing led by piano. We will have coffee hour with snacks and treats after the service at 11am.
Maundy Thursday commemorates the Last Supper of Jesus Christ with the Apostles. On this day, we remember the Last Supper. During the meal Jesus took bread and wine and shared them with his disciples.
On Sunday, 4/20 at 7:30am, join us for a beautiful Easter sunrise service as we celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus. We will sing, pray, and there will be a message. This Sunday, November 24th at 11:00am-1pm, we will have the annual Hanging of the Greens-beautifying the church in Christmas décor. There will be a potluck coffee hour after church to gear us up to decorate. Please bring a hearty snack or treat to share and stay after church and help decorate. Many hands make light work!
